Rano Leads Joint Assembly to Address Traffic Issues

Rano expressed his appreciation to the community elements from the online motorcycle taxi community, students, traders and alumni who were involved in the activity.

He also expressed his gratitude to the participating retailers and expressed his hope that the Atrium Senen shopping center would return to normal operations this week.

According to Rano, he and Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung allow demonstrations to express aspirations. However, they hope that the demonstrations will not damage public facilities.

The impact of damage to public facilities, added Rano, is not only economically detrimental, but also disrupts the public services. It is because repairs require a large budget and a long construction.

Therefore, Rano apologized to the public because public services are not yet fully back to normal because repairs are still being carried out.

As compensation, the Jakarta Provincial Government has issued a policy of making public transportation fares on TransJakarta, LRT and MRT free for this week.

Rano then invited all parties to maintain the conducive situation in Jakarta and Indonesia.
